Elite Mindset — listen to your internal music

Josh Waitzkin, when asked what he sees in common amongst Elite performers in business, noted a few things. One that sung to me was this.

Earlier this year I refocussed my home page, to begin now with the words:

Elite Mindset
Are you ready to stretch beyond your comfort zone in the quest to be an elite performer?

You understand that elite is a mindset, a journey, and one you are hungry to take.

This was a simple update, only of the first paragraph, but I first committed to refining this using a specialist brand and copy team who could really distil this to these few words. I’m a fan of taking the time to find simplicity, see here and here.

At that time, knowing the majority of my readers come from other sources than my home page (eg through my email newsletter (sign up on the home page), Twitter, LinkedIn, Medium pages), I launched with a post that I called:
