Making sense of yourself with eight questions
So I’m back with daily posts. The war in Ukraine continues, and so does life. Instinctively it makes sense for me to keep doing what I do, which is often to listen, learn, think, distil and try to make sense of things to support others with their journey of #OpenLeadership.
For my first post back in the swing of things, last week Sean Moffitt of the Grey Swan Guild asked me to answer “Eight Questions” about myself for the “GSG” to share on their Medium and LinkedIn pages. As they put it:
“Our Eight Questions is part of our ongoing series profiling some of the amazingly talented members of our global Grey Swan Guild and get behind the curtain of what makes them think and sense the world differently and more effectively than others.”
At Grey Swan Guild, we look at “sensemaking” some of the big challenges, the “Grey Swans” of our world. In seeking to answer the “eight questions”, i found it helped me “sensemake”, to make sense of myself, something that brought a wry smile to my face! For those of you who know me well, you may smile in different ways when you read my thoughts on “making sense of Tom”!
The full article is on the GSG medium page here, but I’ve also copied and pasted it below so you can both read my answers and, perhaps, take a crack at answering them for yourself.
