What will your tombstone legacy be?

My late mentor and friend Ed Percival, has left a truly powerful “tombstone legacy” through many you have learned from him and share what they have learned.

Among the many phrases wrongly attributed to Winston Churchill, though losing none of the power of the statement for it, is:

We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give

In fact, something Churchill did in fact say is, if anything, even more inspiring.

“What is the use of living, if it be nthe ot to strive for noble causes and to make this muddled world a better place for those who will live in it after we are gone? How else can we put ourselves in harmonious relation with the great verities and consolations of the infinite and the eternal? ”

I’m simply musing today, this Sunday, about what our tombstone legacies can be. What will people remember us for?
