Yesterday someone asked people on twitter to give the best advice they could with only two words. Mine?

Write Daily

I believe that having daily rhythms and routines that work for us as individuals can both be powerful in the moment and when we start, and also build over time, much in the same way the famous investor Charlie Munger refers to compound interest as the eighth wonder of the world.

I’ve now been writing daily for well over 3.5 years, so that is something like 1300 posts now.

So many things have come out of that, from refining several leadership models, developing my thoughts in many ways, to the launch last year of my weekly show WhatComesNextLive, and an upcoming project is to write and publish my first book.

Now, writing daily may not be the best advice for you. If you are my dear friend Rosie von Lila, it could be “Miracle Mornings”, a daily morning practice she has that has been truly transformational for her, and this week she launched the latest group that has come from an idea she has created: Women’s Team.

So, thinking of Rosie and inspired by her, perhaps a more general piece of “best advice” in two words that I feel everyone can take on would be:

Daily Practice

What can you commit to doing daily, every day, that will work for you?
